Good Weekend

We started the countdown to City2Surf with the Strider's 10k at Lane Cove yesterday. For those of you who feel that tiger angel's travails have dragged on an on, think on this. Yesterday morning was her first race at Lane Cove for three years! That's a long time to be thinking 'just next month'.

TA's breathing problems of the last couple of months appear to be getting sorted too. The doctor has prescribed a particular puffer that seems to have made a big difference. She completed that race yesterday with very little coughing, which is a far cry from her desperate inability to draw breath after Woodford 2 Glenbrook. What's more, she completed it multi-minutes faster than she expected (55:56) . I had a good run too, coming in about as fast I thought possible (44:30) which is always pleasing. So, we're both a fair way off pb, but headed in the right direction :-)

This coming week is going to be a light one for both of us - it's that stage in the up-up-up-down cycle, but it also ties in well with not being too leg-weary for Sunday. Lot's of fun coming our way (well, us and 69,998 other folk :-) ).
